The ACA's Broadcast Committee strives to be the authoritative source on key broadcast issues in order to maximize the effective use of this medium by all ACA members.

- Efficacy of TV and radio media
- Audience Measurement; accuracy; new methods; more markets; response rates
- TV Clutter – aiming to ensure the value of the medium is not diminished
- CRTC Hearings – representing advertisers’ interests on issues involving the CRTC
- Convergence – concerning the impact of cross-ownership
- Emerging Technologies/Methodologies – TiVo and Replay; HDTV; iTV; etc.

Objectives
- To foster a committee environment and agenda that results in members’ involvement and reflects high standards of professionalism.
- To identify, prioritize, track, analyze and address major issues of concern to advertisers using broadcast media.
- To represent ACA member interests to broadcasters and regulators.
- To develop and publish statements and policy guidelines as required.
- To form and maintain relationships with key organizations including:

- Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB)
- Concerned Children’s Advertisers (CCA)
